The grain on the top side is finer, while the back side has a slightly wider pattern. To ensure slip resistance, all our products are sanded for safety. Thanks to WPC’s waterproof properties, it is commonly used in outdoor settings, making excellent slip resistance particularly important.
Standard WPC composite decking comes in WPC hollow decking and WPC decking solid types, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. WPC hollow decking boards are relatively lighter in weight, making them more cost-effective. WPC decking solid boards are more stable and robust. Another advantage of WPC hollow decking boards is their better tolerance to thermal expansion and contraction due to the hollow structure, while WPC solid deck have lower resistance to temperature-induced expansion and contraction.

- For hollow WPC decking, thicker decking are narrower and thinner decking are wider. This is due to structural and load-bearing considerations: thicker decks are narrower to increase rigidity and prevent bending in the middle, while thinner decks can be wider because their lighter weight allows for greater width and better material utilization.

Material Composition and Eco-Friendliness
Our standard WPC decking is made of 10% additives, 30% plastic, and 60% wood powder, making it eco-friendly. WPC products—including decking, doors, fences, and railings—can be recycled at wood-plastic factories. You only need to provide logistics for recycling, enabling a “trade-in” for old products.
Performance and Maintenance
- Strong UV resistance and excellent waterproof performance. About 95% of our boards are used outdoors.
- Installation is simple, requiring only screws and basic joists.
- Maintenance is minimal: unlike treated wood, WPC does not need regular painting to prevent insect damage, mold, or rot.
- WPC is insect-resistant and does not require painting. Simple cleaning to prevent water accumulation or oil stains is sufficient.
Why painting is unnecessary: The plastic in WPC makes it inherently waterproof and insect-resistant, reducing maintenance and cost. Over time, WPC provides better value. Paint contains chemicals that can be harmful; WPC eliminates this concern. Custom color changes are possible without painting—though painting is not recommended unless changing color is desired.
